Both types need to retire from the world at times and to become temporary loners( I crave alone time, I drive Eleanor a lot). They appreciate opportunities for meditation or, if they are religious, of retreats. Even in company they are fiercely independent, refusing to follow the crowd(well yea). They dislike interference by others, however helpfully intended, and will accept it only on their own terms(most of you know that sadly). Normally they have good taste in drama, music and art, and are also gifted in the arts, especially drama.<--

Donna, be VERY glad you didnt marry him. In my experience, EVERY Gemini I became close to ended in huge blow outs. I am defintely a Libra, and with that comes the absolute refusal to sway once I have settled on what I feel is a fair and equitable solution. LOL In addition, true to the Libra sign, I despise hateful actions, and while I can and have retaliated (One particular Gem is now frightended of me!) I normally wont. Gem need a bit of chaos at all times in thier life, and us Libras just CANT hang with that.

 

Aries all the way. April 19th here. And 1 of my best friends is also an Aries. Another is a Gemini.

For those interested, the rising sign is determined by the TIME of your birth. So, sun sign is determined by date, and rising is determined by time.

Alot of times people will look at thier sun signs and thier friends will say, "That is SO YOU!" but they dont feel like they connect so much internally. When you put your rising sign together with your sun sign, it suddnely becomes clear. Crystal clear, as we witchy types like to say, LOL As with everything, there is a debate on this front. Some say your moon sign (changes ever two days) is what rules your emotions, and your rising is indicative of the environment you were born into, or the front you present to the world.

I am a Libra, with a Taurus rising. Libras can be stubborn on thier own, but mother, put a Taurus rising in there, and what a mess.

BTW, the wheel turns every two hours. Obviously, its moving all the time, but the signs are different every two hours when it comes to Rising. Since the wheel is in constant motion, due to the pull of the Earth, you can be a strong sun sign as well as a weak sun sign. You can be a waning sun or a waxing sun. I am a waxing Libra, towards Virgo, with a Taurus rising. I have a lot of my chart however in Libra, which will give me a lot of Libra traits.

Its actually VERY in depth. Natal charting is a science. I wish I had the money I would purchase a good software, and it does all the mathmatical equations for me. They are pricey though. I used to put together $300 charts for people, and I loved doing it, just ran out of time.

I mixed up my signs earlier when I said I had a Virgo rising... Its actually Taurus, and my son is a Virgo with Scorpio Rising.

This has really captured my imagination!

 

One of the reasons I gave up charting, was cuz of time zones and crud. I just use my local time. Meaning, I just figure the chart in my local time, and be done with it.

Can be whats messing me up, LOL When I was charting I did have a program that I could set the longitude and Latitude of a birthplace, and it would give me the correct time for that person.
