well it's going to be here in a couple short weeks. I have waited way more than enough for this game.

I already have it.
Heres my comments on it that I posted on another forum...
Amazing! Running at its native 480i, the graphics are slightly better than GT3's but if you have HDTV and switch over to 16:9 and 1080i resolution - WOW! Jagged edges are gone, everything is smooth and clean cut. GT4 is definitely pushing the old PS2 to its limit.
The interface is completely redesigned and looks very good. Cars backfire with flames shooting out of the exhaust. The crowd and pit crew is 3D and animated.
The license tests are back with 80 tests in total (16 per license, 5 licenses in total) but they are no where as difficult as the past GT's. Having the Logitech GT Force Pro definitely helped here. In about 4 hours of playing last night I was able to obtain the Domestic B, A and International B, A licenses. Most of them I passed on the first attempt, a few were a female dog. Most of my times were mixed b/w Silver and Bronze.
Photomode is a great addition and I'll probably spend a lot of time there.
GT4 is much more than I anticipated, best game ever period.

Always the same muscle cars and same Mustang. GT 2 & 3 had exactly same cars. I also expected 5.0 Mustang in GT 4.
As far as I can tell, GT 2 was best GT game.

well, i am pretty dissapointed about the lack of mustangs!
no boss', no mach 1's, no sidewinders! geez! how can they have a decent list muscle cars without these.
instead they have what imo is probably the ugliest mustang ever.... that crappy R.
GT2 had way more mustang than this!
although the DB9 is in the game

One of the few PS2 games I will play.
