OK . . .

6:34.811

2005 BMW M5

722hp
Brakes 7F 5R
Springs 7.5F 6.8R
Ride 92F 92R
Shock (Bound) 6F 6R
Shock (Rebound) 3F 4R
Camber 2.0F 1.0R
Toe -2F 0R
Stabilizers 6F 6R

No downforce setting for the M5

No NOS

If I hit all my marks I could probably take 4-5 seconds off that time . . .that's a big 'if'.

I raced the 200 mile Laguna Seca race in my Panoz LM car. I was at 1:22 per lap. Not bad I guess.

Overall this has to be my favorite track. I used to hate it but when you learn the tricks of the track its really fun as heck.
Just for fun (and curious) I raced my M5 on Seca . . . my best was a 1:19.856. I might have to drag my Panoz out and see what she can do!

Cool! Sounds like it should be quite attainable for you.

I like this little competition between the TMS members.

What model GT, if I may ask? I've got them all, but have only raced the "Prototype" and "regular" production version.

haha this sounds cool, I'm gonna be on this tomorrow in my GT, I don't remember what my best time is for sure right now but the car has the default race suspension settings no wing or ballast wieght. It has almost all of the other mods I can think of but not very much of it is adjusted properly. I'll post my best time later.

seems as though I couldn't walk past the game to go to bed without trying it out. my best time with the GT was a 6:30 so it could definitly do it in the 6:20's. I'll play around with the settings and try to get it a little faster.

I'm also not sure what I'm missing for mods, I thought I had them all but I'm not in the 800's for hp

The Nurburgring is definitly one of my favorites (I even found it with google earth when I was bored), but sometimes the bumpyness just gets annoying. If I don't want the longness of the ring I usually go to laguna seca.

Quick question. How do you get the GT-350. I've completed 42.5% of the game. Played a lot over the summer but not much since.

I think, if I remember, you have to win the Shelby Cobra challenge for the GT350 under/in the Shelby banner.

And I think we can throw out my Ford GT LM Spec II times because it is the 'race car' version of the GT (new models). Aren't suppose to use production cars? If so I'll mod out a production/prototype model and see what she does.

Yeah the GT350 is when you do the manufacture shelby cobra race.

Well we can do whatever we want Jason, true the LM spec car isn't in the same league as the rest of the cars we've been using since its a race car.

Definnatly give the production GT a run.

Quick question to everyone... How much hp does your fully suped up Ford GT have? I have 2500 miles on mine and i think it might be losing hp.. after a recent oil change it went to 816hp.

When i ran the ring at 6:20 it had 806hp before the race and after it had 786hp.

Does anyone have that Nissan R92 car yet?

I bought the special "black" one when day 694 rolled around.

Anyone have suggestions on what the best specs for the Ford GT are, kind of like what Jason posted.

Thanks for the help.

Andy

yeah I bought all those black cars on that day, I saved up a lot of money before that. I dont use them very much though.

I want to know what some good setting would be for the GT too.

and Chris, that might explain wh mine doesn't have over 800hp, I'm not sure what its at now, but I'll check, then change the oil and check again.

Seeing as this is a mustang forum, anyone want to do a Mustang GT challenge too?
