Jessica Simpson has screen-tested for the role of Daisy Duke. Jay Chandrasekhar is directing the Warner Bros. project. A start date has not yet been set.

The series, which ran on CBS from 1979 to 1985, followed the weekly adventures of southern cousins Bo and Luke -- "just two good ol' boys, never meaning no harm," according to the Waylon Jennings theme song -- who raised heck driving their souped-up Dodge Charger, the General Lee, in fictional Hazzard County. They, along with their cousin Daisy and Uncle Jesse, staged running battles with the corrupt authorities, Boss Hogg and Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane.

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, they are normally very good together in films. Daisy........ Keira Knightly she would have to work on her accent though!

yup. i dont pay for movies that are only out to get a buck, i dont buy those trash papers with the celebrities on it, i dont buy music where the corporation writes the songs, dress up the "singer/ band members", and picks out the best looking people. all of this is about greed. none of it is about making good, serious art with meaning. paying for this doesnt give a chance for those who are really trying hard to get there stuff out and really want to get an important message to the public.

I cant BELIEVE!!! They did this to my danged ole duke boys. There are probably not two more actors I dislike more than Sean william scott(dude, he looks like a skull) and Jessica(and her creepy sister) Simpson.
