Going to Vegas in April

It's not that bad. Just know when to ignore and keep walking.
I actually just now booked a room for my anniversary in June.
gotcha on the cab thing lol I'll pay an extra 10 if he floors it. Is one side of the street better over the other as far as walking?? Because its always greener on the other side?? lol
I agree, both sides of the street have different things to offer. Although last time I was there, there was a lot of construction on one side (I think it's now City Center/Aria/Vdara/etc.), so it was easiest to stick to the other side. But there's plenty of crossing points, both in the street and above it. Just be careful crossing the streets...You may have the signal to walk, but the guy in the car may be ****-faced and not even know there's a stop light. Just something to remember.

also checking out some of these places too. http://www.vegas.com/traveltips/guid...ainhunter.html Not that I don't have money but more that some of it sounds pretty good.

On the old strip, gold diggers in the nugget gets pretty wild.

Maybe this coming show!
I just wanted to check it out one time. Maybe next time. There is still a lot we didn't see or do that we wanted to. It was really hard with the 3 hour time difference. We are so used to getting up at 5-6 am every morning, it was hard to hang at night.
Got back yesterday. Great trip and I will probably go again but I would leave Las Vegas Friday morning/noon instead of sat morn. I would get there on Tuesday. Friday the crowds picked up pretty good, sidewalk traffic and bar/restaurants wait times are kind of a drag. I would book that open top bus tour on the first night next time. The tour guide was full of info.
We rented a car for the dam trip. It was cool you only need to do that once and the new bridge is pretty cool. We didn't walk on it but we did drive over it. Just like any other bridge with no view. The side walls are to tall to see over while driving.
3 day tram pass is a must and probably the best deal anywhere around for miles too
MGM was cool had a tram stop down stairs a PLUS and theplace was much bigger than I expected nice room ok view not a strip view at the end of a longazz hall way. I did most of my gambling there. I think I broke about even or a little better I didn't keep track or care too. My Wife didn't do so well. lol. But we both had fun tho.
Lots of drinking I love the fact you can walk the streets and have a drink at the same time. It makes SHOPPING much more tolerable. I almost drank to much.
Tried to check out most of the ho-tels they all have something see. We went and seen the Titanic exhibit at the Luxor maybe next time we will catch a big show somewhere.
Freemont street is a must see also. It was one of the open top bus tour stops. The guide took us on a short walking tour there. Can't say enough about that street.
We will spend an evening there next time. I had planed to go there the first night we were in town but didn't make it. Two bands going at different ends and about 40million lights=COOL
I had about 15 pages of things to see and do but forgot those at home. I'll have those for next time. Pictures later FUN TIME tho x 10

Glad you had a great time! We were at the end of the long azz hall at the MGM too. Like the 2nd to last room
we joked that it took 5 minutes just to walk to the elevator, lol. I'm glad you made it to Fremont Street, it really was one of my favorite things we did while we were there. Looking forward to seeing your pics.
