I have 2 GMail (Google Mail) Invitations (called Invites in Gmail) to send to the first to people who request them. I'll probably be getting a few more later, but right now I have only two left.

First two people that request them, get them!

UPDATE: NONE.

PM me an email address to send it to, and it'll be on its way!

It is Googles new freemail system, like a hotmail or yahoo address. The difference is that you get 1G of storage ... and the way it handles conversation threads, and storage/searching of old emails. It's really quiet cool. I still use my own domain email for most stuff, but I use GMail for signing up at places etc.

You can only join by another member inviting you right now, because its still in beta.

But, I only had two invitations left .. and they're all gone now!

There wasn't much interest last time around, but if I get more (they only give them to you every once in awhile to pass to friends), then I'll post here and let you know.

I guess this is the wrong place, you ofer invites at a geeky(computer) forum and you have 20 people emailing you in minutes.

Nah, I doubt that... most of the geeks in those forums have either been part of the beta testing, or have hacked their way in already.

I'm not really a member at any other forums ... and most of my friends are in Software Development too .. and a lot of them didn't want 'em either.

I also have a yahoo account (have since like 97/98) and they just upgraded mine to 100MB -- didn't know they were offering 2G accounts. Only thing that goes there is my publishers clearing house and iWon emails

Do you still have a gmail account invite? I'd be interested in taking it off your hands...

maybe they upgraded me to 2gb because i have sbc yahoo dsl also.

i also like how items in the bulk mail folder (spam) dont count against your 2gb limit.

i can always use another high capacity email address though

msg me if you get any more invites

I don't have anymore right now, but I'll let everyone know when I do. I haven't really figured out when/how they pass them out.
