Why is everyone pushing to get me banned in here?? And why are my opinions worse than everyone elses?? Maybe some feedback will help me fix whatever I'm doing wrong. I'm sorry if I'm not a fluent Internet lingo speaker but I'm deffinatly not a rude or mean person! I only give opinions and tell experiences thy have actually happened to me. Because you're often disrespectful, you whine too much, and you've shown yourself to be a hypocrite. Those are generally not ways to make friends, but then again you've said something to the effect that you're not here to make friends so, you probably don't care.

Believe it or not I think if you altered your puncuation style it would help a lot. When you include exclamation points on every sentence or multiple question marks it makes it seem like you are yelling or whining.

While certain people might call it unmanly to do this, it is actually quite wise to just ignore those who would insult you, unless you can come up with a very polite and logical response. Understand that disagreements do not need to be challenges against anyone. Science would not be anything good if people were afraid to be wrong. Disagreements can teach us more than agreements. Do not worry if someone disagrees with you. If it turns to something you find unpleasant, then try to bring the thread back to topic and lead by example.

We've never interacted directly (positively or negatively).

Still, on the posts of yours that I have seen, I often found myself wondering why you were reacting so strongly and seemed to be taking other people's comments personally. In fact, the only reason I even remember is because I thought to myself that you must be misunderstanding what other folks are saying to you because your responses sometimes seemed defensive for no reason. Again, we don't know each other, so I am going purely based off your written responses.

So I guess my advice is the same advice that applies to ANY form of text-based communication...read it twice before responding The written word can be very vague at times, especially in a casual environment like a forum. If you are ever in doubt about someone else's intentions, just ask them to clarify instead of getting worked up about it. Once one person is worked up, it seems to spread like a virus and it's hard to get back under control.

This is supposed to be a relaxing experience We've all taken things the wrong way, or accidently conveyed the wrong meaning to others around us. To err is very, very human. Just gotta take a step back and reassess! I've done it many times myself. Good luck and enjoy this place!

 

I think I see what your talking about now. If you get called a name or feel insulted report the post don't respond in kind. Also some people do need to chill out a tad. Have to agree with Adrian's post also.

You know what you do. You have strong opinions and don't mind sharing them, however you generally freak out when someone shares an opinion of their own.

You know why, you instigate and bad mouth people. Then you want to try and get people banned for doing the same.

You also try to seek attention with threads such as this one.

You just joined here, yet you think everyone follows you around to comment on your posts. You are not that important. I don't mean that in a rude way either, you are brand new here, have a mostly stock car, and you don't have any crazy ETs or anything. Nothing is wrong with you not fitting these categories, I'm just showing examples of the kind of things it takes to get people genuinely interested in what you have to say and may lead people to look up your name and see what you've been posting.

Your just a normal guy like 98% of the people here. There is no conspiracy going on.

You dish it, receive it back, and then complain about it. Rinse and repeat.

And the only reason my 2011 gt only has wheels and exhaust and front end work is because I only had it 2 weeks before winter hit, so it's just sitting in the garage. Anyways this thread shouldn't be a slap in the face I was asking a simple question and just want other peoples opinions and not the opinions of the people causing my problems....that is all, but if you don't like this thread or agree with it just don't comment on it.

I remember a discussion that I was having with some people about punctuation. It was decided pretty clearly there that girls tend to use exclamation marks and other punctuation for added emphasis much more often than guys tend to. Just sayin...

Actually, all kidding aside, you seem really stressed. I hear that Zoloft or Prozac work wonders. Stress can actually make you very sick. Sorry if you take offense to the Zoloft remark, but it really is a nice drug.

If there is one profession in the world that I would say not to get in though, it would probably be teaching. If you respond this strongly to foru posts, trust me that you do not want to be in a classroom with a bunch of 8th graders.

Again, do not take things so personally. No one here really knows who you are. Just relax and everything will be fine. There will always be people who do not like you.
