Genuine Ford Personalized Credit Card

What is Ford waiting For. Other Makes Have Credit Cards which offer Rebates etc. on the Purchase of a New Ford. I would Love to have a Credit Card with a pic such as Shown. It would be Really Cool to Have a Card with a Personalized Pic of your Stang or Other Ford! If Ford were to Come out with such a card what Features would you like to see??? I have Posted a Link to show what other Automotive Credit Cards are Offering. If I get some good response to this Forum I will forward a Link to FORD CORPORATE. Be Creative but Practical with your Idea's! BTW the Nascar Card shown at the Link is what I would Like to see Ford Emulate!

Thanks!

Citibank used to offer a Ford rebate credit card. Then they watered it down and made it work on all cars and then they changed it again I think. Somewhere along the line I dumped it for a cash back card from Citibank that they have since watered down too!

If Ford were to bring back a Card it would be critical that it had some meat to it and Followed a BOLD MOVE Theme. It's time for Ford to get off the pot and get busy!

They got two choices!

{GET BUSY LIVIN!
or GET BUSY DYING!}
One of my Favorite quotes from The Shawshank Redeption

I would be all over a card like that (esp. with my own photo). Maybe gas back or cash back on next purchase. Maybe hit a certain level and get discounted points on a loan.

Personally I'm a cash-back kinda guy that's why I use CitiCard.

I had a Ford Gold Visa in the 90s. Earned 5% towards any new Ford to a maximum of $1400 a year or $7000 total. In 1998 I bought my Escort and got $7000 off.

I still have a GM Visa but it is a $700 year max and you can only use it for certain cars up to a maximum depending on the car.

Sounds Like Ford Had a Pretty Good Card at one time! I think Mustangers would Be All over it! How about FRPP Products as a Points Reward??? I would Like to See what Pics you Guys would Like to See on your Card??? Ford may not have the Vision these Days to get back into the Cards. Maybe Shelby or Roush could See the Value in a Card That Brought the Customer Back to The Card Issuer. Gee That just Makes to much sense for Ford to Get it LOL!

I also had the Citibank Ford Visa... it rocked! I used my $2000 rebate toward my 1998 'Stang. I still have the card account but it doesn't do vehicle rebates any more.

I don't have a GM card... when the telemarketers call I tell them that I drive a Ford and don't want their GM crap, and that they can kiss my Ford a**!

What is Funny is I take C/Cards over the Phone All Day, Most of My Mustang People have their Numbers Memorized! They are always buying Car goodies! Might as Well get a Rebate towards that Next Ford Purchase!

C'mon Guys Put a little thought into what whould Really make this a Successful Program & Post. Please See both Sides of the Road on this too. What would make this Card a WIN-WIN Scenario For Both FORD and Us The Consumer. I got an Email Address to a Very Highly Placed FORD Exec. that could Run with this but I want YOUR Reasons on what would make This The Card to Have and Use. Your Comments could End up the Discussion at a FORD Board Meeting! Now how Cool would That be! Now That I have Said That PLEASE Stay on Topic!

Thanks,

KC

I would feeload this thing like nobody's business...so I guess intrest rate is not all that important.....Cash back or "ford credit" back would be realy nice. That way I can save for my a car and not really have to set money aside.

If Ford had a card with a rebate towards a new car or FRPP parts etc. I would go for it, right now I'm using my airline miles card.. looking for a free trip. A low interest rate would be great too. Add our own photos on a card would be cool too.
Rebates of like 1% on everyday purch. and 5% on automotive or Ford stuff... gee how much have I bought from you Kevin?

How about even as Codemans idea no annual rate/cash back & Transfer of other card balance maybe then who ever is doing the card will win on that interest as well. Believe me they'll make some bucks. I'm sure I seen it but being able to have you & your car's picture for it's face would be nice. That cost you 2.5 cents sir lol
