I took a few lessons way way back when. I wish I would have kept at it. Acoustic! If I had the cash I would have a small collection but at the moment I don't have one.

Nice Strat! Gave my 8-yr-old daughter a red "mini strat" that looks just like that for her birthday in February. Except for the low E string it pretty much plays/feels like a "grown up" guitar.

I played bass in a band about 15 years ago. I gave it up when my first daughter was born and I needed money and pawned all my gear.

Since then I've bought a few things like an Epiphone Les Paul to start playing a little more guitar

I play keys. I actually went to college for music and performed in the New Orleans area for years.

I play. Have for many years. And all kinds of music- when I was younger I was in a speed metal band with the guitar player from GWAR. These days I play with a group called the Mag Bats... I play 3, 4, 5, 6, 12 string acoustic and elec. guitars, 5 str. banjo, and diatonic accordion. My 'regular' guitars are my Les Paul, a 69 Gibson ES-335 12 string, a Martin acoustic and a Washburn Anniversary Parlor guitar. Lately Ive gotten into handmade instruments, so Ive been playing guitars made out of cigar boxes- I have a small fleet of those. At work right now but I'll try to find some pics later if there's any interest.

I play bass and guitar, but the bass was my first love. I got a Fender Jazz Bass, and a '72 Fender Tele Deluxe. I used to play with a few friends, and record music all the time; now with school and work and whatnot, I don't get to play as much as Id like.
