Garage Floor

How do you keep your garage floors "clean" during the winter? With all of the snow slop, salt and sand that our cars pick up, inevitably melts in the warm garage and there's all this muck all over the floor. I wanted to see if anyone had any good ideas to keep it somewhat clean.

I'm trying to avoid tracking that stuff into the house, and in the car when I get in it.

If you put one of those coatings on it, you should be able to use a squeegee or something similar.

I need to pick up a garage squeegee, saw one at Lowes a while back and should have bought it. Hind sight...A buddy of mine sent me
I'm going to try it tomorrow see if it works.

I tried what was described in the video and it worked remarkable well. Put snow on top of the water and sludge worked it around with a broom, and it soaked up the water and picked up the sludge, most of it. I'm working with a filthy floor unlike the floor in the video.

I'll probably try it again to pick up more stuff and when spring is here then I can give it a good power washing.

This stuff rocks! We have it in the garage and even put it in our enclosed trailer. Just use a squeegee to remove the water in the winter and in the spring we move everything out the garage and scrub the floor with a broom and garden hose.
