Forza 2 won't have the Car Club feature like the first but I figure we can still organize races and show of our cars. I think we should be a Ford enthusiast club, but open to all cars. I can't wait for some of the sweet Mustangs....Forza 2 comes out May 29th. There should be a Forza 2 demo on Xbox Live soon, too.

Found out the demo will be 2AM PST instead of EST. The good news is that the spring patch allows the xbox to power down when done downloading so just set it to full suck mode when you get up in the morning and when you get back home from school/work/whatever it will be waiting for you!

I got the startegy guide today!!! It will make good reading material for the flight back to Florida tommorrow BTW North Carolina is beautiful

 

Picked up today and played till I got the GT500. Sweet game.

 

You could of just driven it in arcade mode I raced and saved up for a Mustang GT and im customizing it now....i'll upload a picture.

BTW What car did you start with? I started with the Pontiac Solstice, its a pretty good car.

 

My friend brought Forza 2 over lat night. Great game. He started with the Solstice too.

i actually tried to mod my car to make it like my real car...too bad you can't get a Bamachips tune on the game

I went Boss Mustang picture crazy..... if you like it, gift me a Mustang and i'll paint and send it back to you free of charge.... Depending on what body kit you chose I may have to mod the vinyls a bit....

Some of the pictures show a couple flaws. I have now ironed out most of the problems, though I am still considering redoing the hood.....

Also I can't get rid of the GT symbol on the side.

you could always move the boss stripe back slightly so it covers the gt badge.

 

Glad you like it!!! FYI if you gift me a gift i'll probably lock the paintjob to that car, just wanted to make sure thats ok. Also tell me what color to make it. Grabber Blue would look cool as would Red, though Calyspo Coral is my personal favorite.

Okay so I am new to Forza 2 and I can seem to figure out the premise of the game. So I am racing on the hardest level and if I can't win a race, I just modify my car and then I kill everyone in the race. No challenge at all. Is this the point of the game or am I missing something? Shouldn't something stop me from using a car that is way faster than the cars I am racing?

Got the game friday, played it enough to realize that it is the same as the old one except it has more refinde physics, finer control, more cars, no rally tracks, no point to point races, and NO DRAG STRIP!

after waiting over a year for this game I am pretty dissapointed in the content changes. the damage models are not as advertised either, sure the windows break, and the bumpers come off but go take a look at the new dirt game now that is damage. also no cockpit models? come on forza... yeah there is quite a bit of modeling work there but if the other sim makers can model cockpits so can you.

it just feels like forza 1 with a little polish in the physics and graphics.

I don't know about you guys, but I for one used to love having test and tune drag race competitions.

I am sure they will do us the favor of letting us pay to download the drag race mode (the strip is already in the game) for a few more dollars.....

I just dont really understand why they took so much content out yet people don't mind. I think forza 1 was a better game right out of the box ( I am talking about gameplay here not graphics and resolution)

 

In the first few race types there is a simple limit like a horsepower cap, but as you progress it will slowly narrow your options down. for instance there are stock only races the will not let you mod your car at all, then it is down to tire pressures, fuel, tire compounds, drafting etc.

 

I have never played forza 1 so I was unaware of such content. But a test and tune drag race is somthing that i would have greatly missed.
