Received my June issue of Car & Driver last week and just now have cooled down enough to post this.

John Phillips, who must consider himself on par with Bruce McCall as far as being a humourist(he is not), wrote a "road test" of the "Ford Futura GT/A Wagon". If this were published in the April issue it would be funny, but since April Fools is not contained in June this is nothing but another rap on Ford. The car only exists as a series of Photoshopped Fusions and Mazda 6s. References to Emmett L. Brown being the designer, unfunny counterpoints by other editors, a spec sheet that is ridiculous and more just add to the "Let's see how we can slam an American carmaker, again and get away with it" take that the American Motoring press has taken.

Read the article and see if you agree...or maybe I am just a little cranky.

i did notice that the radio that is talked about in the article looks to be a sticker on a flat dash.

although once again, i think its a car that could do well for the right price.

i also thought it was funnyh with the ever so clear picture of an original taurus sho engine under the hood
