File Sharing software suggetions?

file sharing is not good.
But if you're not installing limewire due to the spyware/viruses that are rampant on there, you will have no luck with any windows based p2p service. If you are intent on downloading, try allofmp3.com
There you open an account and can download songs for 2 - 10 cents per song and theyre real good quality songs. Granted the service is run by the Russian Mafia if you were wondering about the legality of it, but you cannot be prosecuted for it because they are in adherence to Russia's file sharing/copyright laws. no spyware that way either.
look at it this way, you CANNOT get something for nothing. If you want free, you get crap put on your computer. If you can pay just a little bit, you can use services like allofmp3.com If you want to be entirely legal and support the artists for their work, itunes.
enjoy

I work at best buy and we sell Rhapsody there all the time. its not a free service. its $9.99 a month for unlimted STREAMING music. then its like 79 cents or something for every track you want to actually download/burn to disc. Benefit of rhapsody is that you can fill up almost any non-ipod mp3 player with all the music you want, so if you buy a 40gig player, you can put 40 gigs of music on there for just 9.99 a month. as soon as you stop paying that monthly amount, your music on the mp3 player stops playing.
rhapsody also has a free service that allows you to listen to 25 songs free per month, thats it. thats their only free service.
also, i cant tell if what you wrote was meant in sarcasm or not, so i'll pretend it wasnt. I'm just trying to be informative.

Not a bad idea, but I only have one internet hook-up for the computer since it's cable. I tried other outlets when I first moved here and they won't work.
Thanks, Horsepower844182. I'll give them a try.
