It was okay. Most people seem to think it was really good, but i'm still at the 7/10 level. There really isn't any racing in it, the cars aren't the spotlight and this movie is more of an action movie than a car movie.

Be forewarned...there are quite a few Chargers in this movie.

Completely agreed. Then again, girlfriend was distracting me

But those matte black Chargers were awesome and dont try to deny it

They also seem to view cars as all being equal, and its all about the driver. Like at the end, a Nissan GT-R or a Challenger R/T. Oh wow thats difficult to say who will win...

I just wish they had cars with equal powers/abilities

Because of this I didn't like it. I mean they have completely lost track of what the Fast and Furious movies were all about, I felt like Michael Bay was directing this movie.

I had a great time seeing it last night. I do agree I wish there was more racing in it. I will be buying it for sure.

Local review of the movie was titled "Leave your brain at home". Pretty much sums up the movie.

Yea the chargers pulling that vault outta the police station and hualin a** through the city with it was a lil farfetched. I also agree with Antigini they should focus more on the cars. But I liked it. I Can't wait to see F&F 6 with Lettie comin back from the dead!

Haha don't worry I don't think it's possible to spoil fast 5. I don't even recall a 3 and 4 when did they come out. Were they straight to DVD?

You can be Fast & be Furious without being in a race. NO denying possible that the whole movie was about being Fast and they sure as heck were Furious!

If you didn't know about the 3rd and 4th F&F, oh my GOSH! The 4th was only the highest grossing of the whole series, if I read correctly and is my favorite of the series... mainly because of the Buick GNX at the start. It is also the only one that features a S197 Stang!

All of them came out in the theater...

The Fast and the Furious
2 fast 2 Furious
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
Fast and Furious
Fast 5

Although, chronologically, it's supposed to be:

The Fast and the Furious
2 fast 2 Furious
Fast and Furious
Fast 5
Tokyo Drift

Saw it on Saturday in Imax and it was pretty good! It reminded me a little bit of an 'Ocean's 11' type movie (just not *quite* as smart), where they had a plan that had multiple parts and they had an ensemble of past players, which was cool... I agree though, you need to check your brain at the door, cause quite a bit of it is very far fetched...

And brand new Dodge Chargers at the police station? Really? In Rio? LOL!

But, even after all that, it was still entertaining...

I hope that's not serious. Are they making a 6th one?...with zombies?...just for the h*ll of it?

After that 9 minute video that someone already posted, I feel like I've already seen the whole movie...or at least the good parts. I'd also like to see more cars and more racing. I'm kinda upset that I found out that there was a GT40 in it...yet I've only seen it driving in dirt...

I thought it was decent. I had the same beefs as everyone else (not enough racing, impossible stunts). That being said I'll still see the 6th

There, I fixed your chronological order.

Also, a lot of people relate Fast Five to Italian Job instead of the original Furious movies. Tokyo Drift is widely regarded as not belonging in the series.

LOL! True, Tokyo Drift was not one of the better films, that's for sure... They should have realized that when none of the original cast(s) wanted to be a part of it...

And I definitely felt an "Ocean's meets Italian Job" vibe from the film... It wasn't as good as either, but definitely still entertaining!

I actually liked Tokyo drift a lot better then then fast 5. At least TD had an actual story about racing, when fast five is more like oceans eleven type of story.

Saw it yesterday and it kicks ***! Really good action sequences. But as posted above, it needed actual street racing footage. I was dissappoinred that they didn't make the race scene when they"won" certain car. The rest was cool.
