That I wanted to go in and get my bracelets and keychains and get the frick out of there quickly? Dollar General is not a shopping destination.
It had been a loooooooooooooong day.(house stuff took ALL day and I went $600 over budget on my light allotment, plus I am anxious for the painters to come on in)

Me either, and if I had to run in, I definately wouldn't park by any one there.

 

Nah, West Virginia takes that prize. But Kentucky's near the top, and for no reason - every state has their nasties, and from growing up in Kentucky, I can truthfully say they're some of the nicest people around.

BTW, it's Southern Drawl, not Southern Draw - the latter is what happens when somebody parks her yellow mustang close to my hillbilly limo and won't move it, so I reach around back for the shotgun!

I was in Houston back in March. I can say I definitely heard more entertaining words at Dollywood than in the Galleria.

 

I don't SHOP there BUT I needed to get some cheapo bead bracelets for my new bag charms I am craftin. I didn't wanna go to the bead store, cause I am doing quantity over quality right this second.(kid starting school, needs cool stuff) Eww- everything else in there is gross

I am so not shopping local when I move - gimme the snooty malls we have around here- I love them, and as a bonus- HILLBILLY FREE

 

After all my poor girl went through this morning.

But in all seriousness, I was asking for it by slumming.. the ONE time I go to a hillbilly store instead of my normal ones, I get this!

 

Hey Ellie, I shop at Dollar General too. Thank god I live in the north where the hillbilles at least speak some english and have some respect for a fine automobile.

I guess all the hillbillies from Pennsyl-tucky have made there way across the US.

I'm sure her "car for the month" that carries her fat behind just felt jealous next to such a fine automobile. Hey, at least she got the color right!

I have just been forced to move my shopping territory northward......to the better parts of town.

 

Personally, I would lay low for a couple days. It's not like a bright yellow '05 Mustang can hide that easily. I don't mean to offend anyone at all, but people like this don't think real well. It would be way too tempting if they were around and saw your car again. 5 minutes+Redneck+car key = VERY unhappy Ellie.

Im shopping in the nice neighborhoods when I buy groceries. In Alabama its very odd, the "hot" town quickly becomes the "cold" town when something better comes along. So If I travel 5 minutes out, I am in the redneck free zone.

That or take the Alero...

Boy, don't I wish that worked. I am ALWAYS parking out in the parking lot. Heck... even when I had much older cars, I parked out there to avoid dinging. Nowadays with my 05... it doesn't matter. Someone will come along and part 2" from my door. I'm miles from the nearest car in the concrete jungle, and some loon has to part on top of me.

AMAZING. It's like they are trying to prove the point that just because you are trying to protect your car from people like them doesn't mean you can. Perhaps it's time to consider one of those inflateable car bubbles. Anyone seen them?
