Someone stripped a Bullitt to make it a race car?! Why not start with a GT instead? Especially since they're dumping EVERYTHING anyway?

Those were my thoughts exactly. Why even mess with the bullitt? Once he gets done, what will it matter what it was? Why ruin one of 5800~ cars like it made?
