We will be flying into Boston and renting a car. We will spend some time in Boston and Portland both on arrival day and take off day. Lobster is what will be for all 3 meals for sure. I can get cooked lobster on the dock?

Legal Seafood Yes a chain still good. Take the subway Blue Line to Aquarium Stop. Right in the middle of Long warf and Faneuil Hall Get Lobster Rolls at one of the eateries in the Hall, Spend the day doing the tourist walk all around the Hall. then over to Legal seafood for dinner. Very moving Holocaust memorial a block north and west of Fanueil Hall also. All kind of stuff to see around Fanueil Hall..... We spend the day there each and every visit to Boston.

Go out and explore the area in and around Boothbay Harbor... there are a lot of little villages that have fishing docks and smaller restaurants where you can get lobster just off the boat.
Camden Maine is a short drive north from Boothbay Harbor and is nice.

If you are driving up from Boston, take the Route 101 East exit off of I-95 in New Hampshire to Route 1A North. New Hampshire only has 18 miles of coastline, but this section is the prettiest, as it goes along the ocean. 1A will bring you back to I-95 North.
