E-cig vapor users?

So my fiance was a smoker, and considering we work together it would drive me up the wall. Our employee was also a heavy smoker and one day he turned up with an e-cig. Long story short my fiance gave it a shot and now for some months is on nothing but vapor.

How many of you have ever tried it? Or have you ever heard about it?

I was hanging out with a couple of friends last night and a few of them had some. I tried them and they were alright.
The best part (at least for me) is you can smoke them indoors without stinking up the place with smoke. It actually one of the reasons they got them ( going outside to smoke, here in the winter when temps drop down in the negative degrees, sucks)

Some places are moving to ban indoor use, actually. As the trend continues to grow more people are vaping indoors which some other people find annoying. I've been annoyed by people who do it in the movie theater, but there's a way to do it so the vapor isn't as cloudy. Some people just don't have consideration.

I tried the rechargeable logic e-cig, and was using it for about a month. Then one night I lost the **** thing, and "relapsed". I don't smoke as much as I used to, and don't want to buy another one. I liked it when I had it, but being able to puff it anywhere kinda took away from the experience of a "smoke break".

Tried to use the rechargeable blu e-cig. I kinda of use it as a supplement to my smoking habit haha. There's nothing like smoking a real cigarette i dont care what anyone says. The e-cig has allowed me to cut back on regular cigarettes.

E-cigs

Ok so ive finally made the move to quit smoking cigarettes and i got me a pair of SmokeSmart e-cigs. These use oil and heat it up so youre just smoking the vapor (which does have nicotine depending on the flavor). I also love doin smoke tricks with these! Lol

Anyone else use e-cigs or vapor pens? If so, what do you use and what are youre thoughts?

On a side note: ive noticed alot of people who never even touched cigs before are using these now.

If you want to quit, just go cold turkey.

I tried E-cigs and they just made me crave a real one more and more.

Good luck, its not easy but its worth it!!!

I tried so many times and even the ecig thing but it made my cravings that much worse...

Just move to NY where a pack is like $11 and you'll quit quickly!

Trust me, it was worth it to quit not only because of cost but it really makes you feel better.

I started chewing the mintiest gum I could find and anything to curb my cravings and finally I overcame it. It took months and even being close to the smell killed me but now it barely affects me. Once in a while I still crave it but nowhere near as bad as I was last year

Yea its definitely tough. One thing that struck me weird though was i didnt like the smell of it if i walked up to some friends smoking. Ever since day 1. Ive had these e-cigs for a couple weeks now and i hvnt craved a regular cig once. I thought about it but it was easy to say no. Ive felt myself already able to breathe more deeply, not running out of breath so easily (used to run all druing high school and a couple years with my college) and i just feel better overall. Its probably the placebo effect, but i feel these e-cig things kinda give me a lil boost sometimes

I'm really happy that the e cigs are helping you but start trying to wean yourself off of them too. I understand wanting something so just chew on a straw or something lol, I just chew gum like a maniac because even when I was a smoker I didn't like the aftertaste so a piece of gum always helped and its way cheaper then cigs!

I also tried the Logic ecigs because one of them had almost no nicotine and it was good even though the craving was killer.

It will take you time but don't give up

I smoked 25 years ago and quit with the help of nicotine gum, without which I was never able to quit. I HAD to replace the nicotine or I'd get nuts after a few days.
Years later I started smoking cigars, and then that got to be too much so two weeks ago I started using e-cigs (brand name NJoy) and I haven't had a cigar since. The e-cigarette is safe, it's just vapor with some nicotine in it. It's going to save countless lives.

There's another thread around here about e-cigs.... As for me, quit smoking a few years ago cold turkey. I occasionally have a cig but not often, the e cig was a good idea but now that everyone uses or has one, they're meh. It also doesn't help that some people think just because it isn't smoke it's ok to smoke them everywhere.

I don't own any but a few co-workers have them ( one has the same one as you CCT) and my brother-in-law has a Mechanical one ( I believe that's what it's called) . He says it cost him around $100 but it saves him money in the long run
They're ok

My New Years res was to quit smoking cigarettes, and I've been using the njoy ecig since then with no need or desire for a regular one since. I also really like the case that they put them in. By making it shaped like a taller zippo lighter, and using the same mechanism, they definitely got the physical action addiction part of it down lol.

I just started using one of the more vape-like ones and they're even better. The nice thing, too, is if you find yourself craving the nicotine as much as the physical action of smoking, you can scale down the nicotine content in the juice until there is none left. Eventually you will basically have just falvored vapor, which is much nicer than smoking all the time lol. only complaint is that its bulkier than the njoy and as such, cannot fit in the cool case

I know a lot of people say you shouldn't use them for quitting, but almost all at once all of my smoker friends and I started using these and I haven't had a smoke since. I noticed my breathing improving in just about a week from when I first stopped and its only getting better.
