Yeah, pretty much.
Back to working on the condo.
Need to buy tile sometime soon. Did the math today and I'll probably need 56 12x12" pieces, and a bunch of them are gonna need to be cut which should be interesting. But my buddy has a wet-saw so we should be able to get them cut at his place.

So whatever, it's not gonna go anywhere, but she knows where I am if that doesn't work out.

I'm mentally destroyed from the last relationship, still have times when I break down thinking about what I had, so it's probably better off this way anyway.

So, moving on.
At least she blew you off gently

Meh ..

We exchanged a couple e-mails, exchanged cell numbers, and even texted back and forth a little since her first reply "blowing me off" ... we may just have a friendship growing, who knows ?

And if it eventually leads to something else, that's OK too.

But for now, I'm still having mental issues with the recent relationship I got out of about 1 month ago, so it's probably better off this way anyway ...

Yes. Nothing produces a string of expletives like realizing you left too much on the tile and you're going to have to fight traffic again--twice--to get it cut properly.

Just spoke with my buddy that has the wet saw and he has no problem lending it to me, so yeah, it's coming here.

And I'm going out in a couple minutes to buy the tile.
I did some math and am coming up with 56 tiles needed.
I think I'll buy 60-65 just in case.
Can always return the unneeded ones.

Oh, I can think of several things that are likely to call forth a string of expletives!

Yea I usually don't cut enough off the tile the first two time cutting it. Third time is a charm

I started installing the tile, and if only the back wall was about a half-inch wider, I could fit 2 more pieces of tile without having to cut them, but NO, it has to be a pain in the **** and make me cut just about 1/8" - 1/4" off each tile to make them fit.

they're not.

The closet walls aren't square and it doesn't surprise me to see the bathroom walls not being square.

Whatever, I'll get it done.

These are the walls after the backer board and about 4-5 coats of Redgard :

Apparently the areas where joint compound went down ended up getting raised a bit, so I used the tile adhesive stuff to try to level-off the walls before the tile installation :

And yesterday I started installing the tile. Still not sure if I was supposed to let the tile basically sit right on the tub, but I plan on grouting the bottom, then caulking it.
