I am in the market for a new computer monitor. I have looked at Sams Club and Office Max locally. I am a little leary of purchasing one off Ebay. The best deal I have found is 399.87 for a 19" Samsung at Sams. If you know of any deals or have any buying tips, please let me know!! Thanks

no offense intended, just to let you know. "Flat Screen" as your thread title states referes to those big deep CRT monitors. Flat Panel refers to the thin LCD displays youre thinking about

where the pixels stay on one colour and do not change when they are supposed to. it generally works like a rash, spreading from the first dead one

I was just wondering because it said "Dead Pixels Policy: Replacement or Refund for 8 or more DEAD PIXELS ONLY!

I am quite certain it will be better than the dinosaur I have now. I now have a 17" CRT since 1998. The LCD ones I have seen are much more vibrant and clear. On this one sometimes, a blue car will look green or vice versa.

I still have my viewsonic 17" monitor I bought in 1997. Its still my gaming monitor as its probably the best one i've owned. However I am wanting to get something newer.

My new monitor should be here today!!!!! That would be great but I have no computer to hook it up too. The computer man still has my CPU until Wednesday or Thursday.
