I love to play paintball and I was wondering if anyone else here did as well.
I have a Tippmann A-5 with all the bells and whistles.
I'll try to post some pics tomorrow.

I played paintball once... Once.

Went to the army surplus, got some cammos to wear so I wouldn't mind being shot.

Got to the place and rented a gun, got ammo, practiced, etc.

Got the headgear too, of course. Being in Houston, it had rained and it was very humid. So the mask kept fogging up. Hard to see...

First thing was "storm the castle", and I was on the storming side. Well, I go all in gung ho, and get shot.

In the jewels.

Ow.

And they kept shooting me, so I had to abandon my hopes of clutching myself and rolling around for a bit while I extracted myself from the situation.

On the brighter side, we played capture the flag, and I hid for a while, defending. And then it was obvious that everyone shot everyone else, so I went and got their flag. Tada.

That was enough. It was SO messy. Muddy, paint, sweat, fogged mask. I'll go skeet shooting instead, thanks.

/it WAS fun. Just too much crap.

Thats what makes it so much fun, well all of that except the fogged mask.

Edit: as far as the foggy mask goes suppositly you can spit on the inside of it and it won't fog up.

You could always go to the mall and buy some of that stuff they try to sell you that prevents your glasses from fogging up. You know, when they grab your glasses from you, spray this stuff on,hold it over a humidifier to show you how well it works, then they ask how many you want and you say "No thanks, you just sprayed that crap onmy glasses, I don't need anymore."

I used to play all the time about 3 years, then stopped cause of other stuff. I played all day each saturday and sunday well into the winter. Cold-half frozen paintballs HURT!

I miss playing alot. I played alot of outdoor on a 14 acre wooded area. Spread out to about 15 different fields of all types. Even had a few 16 hours scenario games and stuff taht was a blast. Also did alot of indoor play. Those were the best.

Here is my gun. I had a automag r/t that i sold. I kept the spyder SE since its alot cheaper to maintain and is seriously a fun gun.

nice tipp!!

I have my stock SE barrel that I use for indoor play.
I have a smartsparts (the black one in the pic) for most game play when I am going to be fairly close, sometimes used inside.
then I have the 2 piece kingman barrel that is like 14" (the silver/blueish) one. Its great for playing on big courses when alot of distance is between me and whomever. Its very accurate at good ranges.

I just bought a gun yesterday. I have very little experience and I thought this might be the best way to go. Might not be the best gun, but for a beginner I really didn't want to pay over 500 bucks. Anyways It's a blue Spyder Imagine all stock right now. I also got goggles, an ammo pack w/ 3 bottom load holsters, all cleaning supplies, co2 can, electonic loading hopper, and a 1000 pb's for $200 bucks. Good deal? What do you guys know about the gun?

Use to play all the time. I use to play in tournaments against teams like dynasty. I jumped in on their practices alot at the indoor place in socal. i used to work at a paintball shop and I am a gun tech. I only have my autococker and my impulse left in my collection but they are setup how i want them anyway so it's no big loss on my part. anyone that has questions about guns, parts, custom work ect send me a pm and Ill give you the best info I can. I also still do work so if anyone wants stuff done I'll do it for you. I'm not looking to charge or anything it would just be to help you out
