You all remember the bronco? The one whose death got me my mustang?
It liked to vomit expensive parts(we put in two, plus a transmission it puked). Everything on it died- this was our Resto vehicle, and we sunk like ten grand into it.
The day Brian said screw it- the throttle stuck, and wrecked it- fender and door crumpled. He handed the keys to his buddy and walked off. The Bronco sat for a year and 3 months. It had a six month old engine and transmission in it at the time.
The guy who just bought it was going to complete the restoration(all it needed to be a resto was cosmetic work, new back glass and turn signals). We almost took it back, but something stopped us. It was sold to a friend of a friend......
He gets it running, takes it for a test run- the engine pukes again and is also NOT under warranty anymore.
I firmly believe the thing is cursed. I am glad we never have to see it again...What do y'all think? Its male Christine only it never killed anyone.
Here's what it looked like.

I have not owned it in over a year. I cannot be held responsible. I am happy its no longer my checkbook the engines are coming out of.
But I just think- MAN when it was going to be finished what with its flame job and all....

I just have to point you make redneck comments all of the time (such as any woman who drives a Truck has to be, etc.) ...
There is a tiny bit of irony between that and the fact you were going to paint a bronco with flames and adorn it with skulls.

I was thinking maybe she was making a copy of the Bronco Anthony and Flea drove in "The Chase"
Didn't Gretchen Wilson drive that in a video? Redneck Woman or something? You know, I loved my Ranger and F150,trucks rock! (I even have all of my own teeth!) Back to subject, yes they can be cursed, our 65 Stang loves coming up with new, interesting problems. She almost made two grown men cry trying to fix overheating issue. Only took 1 1/2 YEARS!
My wife has a F150 4x4 she went and bought, and she's the opposite of what would be considered a redneck (though she was born and raised in Dallas.).
Yes I believe vehicles can be cursed. I have a 91 Regal with a 3.8 MPI as my "beater" it has 177,000 miles on it and has been an awesome car all the way around, and everything still works. (knock on wood) Ok..so my buddys girlfriend loved my car so much she wanted one. So I kept my eyes open and pointed out 96 Regal GS, that car has been nothing but problems to her, no kidding, it has been one thing after the other with that car even to this day and 2 years have went by, she's got so much into it she cant get rid of it without losin her a-- I have to hear about it evertime something goes wrong too! GRRRR... Not so much the engine, it runs good....but everthing else that could go out has. I also decided I would NEVER point out another vehicle to anyone again, because evertime somethin happens to that car she compains to me about it. I was surprised with it myself though, considering the luck I've had with mine, hers must have been built on a friday or something.
Must be a Texas thing. I know a lot of girls/women who drive trucks. Some are housewives, some are professionals and some really are cowgirls who rodeo. For years my sister drove a GMC Sierra 3/4 ton diesel. She is Chief Operations Officer over 6 bank branches, not a redneck at all. Yup, it's a Texas thang! You never know who'll step out of one. (What is a redneck anyway? If you have to ask does that make you one?)
Warning,Cheryl-thread hijacking.(sorry,again)

Good question what is a red neck ? maybe someone that would do this to lock thier car !
I wonder if this would apply for an insurance discount

I had a truck once For six months.
I was very uncomfortable with it. to each her own.
I am glad the thing didn't puke in my driveway again. We coulda bought a NEW car with cash for what we had put into it.
And need I mention, Its death got me my mustang.

In hindsight I can sound like a real jack sometimes can't I? I apologize for the offense.

BTW- we started sticking all that stuff on the bronco back in the day to **** off the baptists who were in turn pissed at us because we didn't believe in marrying our cousins and offering our 9 year olds up for love to teens. (I do not keed, I lived in Perry County for 18 months, and I firmly believe Deliverance was based on life there).
I do miss it, but if the throttle wouldn't have stuck, I might not have gotten Eleanor in the spectacular fashion in which I did.
