Saw last night! Only thing i have to say is see it as soon as possible. The best Batman movie thus far.

Super intense, i cringe thinking of some of the things joker does. great flick, must see.

 

Bought my tickets last night. Can't wait. The first 6 minutes of it came with the collectors version of Batman Begins on BluRay. What a tease!

 

The same 6min that was in the imax sneak peak.

 

One more thing, if you are going to go, don't bring younger kids. The Joker stuff gets pretty intense.

I wanna see this so I'm glad to hear it's good. I had to take the kids to see Space Chimps today and there were people already in line an hour ahead of time for the next showing of Batman.

 

If you're going to give a last performance, you couldn't do it any better. The movie was fantastic and Heath was amazing. A definite must-see.

 

AWESOME movie!!!! I agree, Heath was amazing in the role of Joker!!! It's been a long time since I've seen a movie where you didn't realize that much time had passed when the end came.

Didn't have to wait....Fandango is your friend sometimes .

 

Somehow, the movie really DID live up to the unbelievable amount of hype. Absolutely amazing all around. I was actually really surprised that the Harvey Dent / Two-Face plotline got some much screen time, because they didn't reveal any of it in the previews. And really, what more needs to be said about Heath Ledger... he WAS The Joker.

 

Gahhhhh! This is terrible, im at least 600km from any movie theater for the next few weeks. I was almost hoping that it sucked.

Just saw the movie last nite at 8:30pm. Quite possibly the best movie I have seen EVER!!! I would pay to see this movie again no matter what the cost. Really lived up to the hype and Heath Ledger was AWESOME as the Joker. The pencil trick was the greatest, if not most creepy trick of the movie. As other's have said, leave the kid's at home. A PG-13 rating was really pushing it. That said it was a great movie and well worth the wait!!!

 

I have no idea why but i can't get myself excited about this..for some reason I'm so Meh on batman. I guess part of my problem is i'm tired of Bale and wasn't much impressed with the first one (tumbler excluded)

I have my doubts this will knock my all time fav movie off the top of the list.

I guess i just want to see something unexpected..like batman pull a gun and shoot some crim in the face or something.

Actually if they made Arkym Asylum into a movie I'd be all over that...what a stellar comic

i enjoyed it. cant say enough about how well joker was played. but it doesnt knock iron man off the top of my list of superhero movies

 

As much as I liked Nicholson as the Joker, he wasn't dark enough at all. It's kind of funny that Nicholson had warned Ledger about the role, yet they played it totally differently. I didn't find Nicholson's Joker dark at all, really. Not in comparison at least. And the whole time through the movie, you don't feel like you're watching Heath Ledger play the Joker. He just was the Joker.

Yeah, I was quite surprised, too. And there was only 1 picture floating around on the net. I figured something would happen at the end, and he'd be in the next one.

That was friggin' awesome! You're thinking to yourself.. hmm... what's he going to do with that. Oh!! Yeah!

 

you can't compare the jokers really because the writing in the movies for the character is different. jack did awesome with what he had and so did heath. i appreciate both of them

 

Oh definitely. But, at the same time, Nicholson was still himself while being the Joker. He was playing a role. Ledger was the Joker. I'm not knocking Nicholson. He was great. But Ledger went all in.

 

I saw it today.... It was good, but way over hyped.

 

It was a little overhyped BUT I have to admit there was some class acting in this movie. Some of the best I've seen in a while; especially Heath. The Joker was the most convincing character in the entire movie
