Dad Shoots Daughter's Laptop Over facebook Post

That's a thought. The wife says she too tired to please her husband but still has to check in on Facebook before bed. Her iPhone has got to die. That's it. Video coming sooner than I will be for a while.

venting to a friend or two is fine or even writing things a diary. But people on the web today say anything they please without worry or care. They act like the thigns they do have not impact on other or themselfs. When companys hire now its part of the back ground check to check the posting and online history of the person. These kids are committing suicide before they even get in the game. Schools should have a class covering the matter and at a young age. They are screwing themselfs over before they even get in the game.

She's just a spoiled little brat. If I had spent hours fixing her computer and she just talked **** about me after, I'd have done the same thing. Better find a job quick, cuz you'll be buying all your own ****, if you can't appreciate it.

I think I may save this to show to my son (he's nine) in a couple of years. He's been asking for a cell phone and to be able to start a Facebook account lately. If he's lucky (and still respectful and well behaved) I may let him get on Facebook when he is 12 or 14, and maybe get a cell phone when he is 16. Frankly I would have done the same thing in this father's situation, although I probably would have used 00 buck from my 12 gauge.

What's really amusing about this is
NOT that he shot the laptop,
NOT that he is showing his daughter that HIS benevolence causes her to have things such as the laptop she now doesn't have...
NOT that she is being, IMO, rightfully shown a decent consequence
Nope, what's amusing is that he says he spent $130 in software and six hours fixing the laptop... and he's in IT?
Riiight.
That would have been a wiped computer at best, but at worst, would cost me >>$0<< to clean.
Of course, there were upgrades, which I assume he meant to say "updates", but it's implied he spent the $130 to also clean it or something.
Amature.
/Maybe I misheard.
//Also, Way to go dad! Even if you did blow $130 needlessly!
///Oh, got it, President of an IT company. Like my old boss. Shoulda had Tim do the work, though, or maybe Tom, perhaps they'd have done it with $0 incurred...
////Ok, I'll stop now, no sense in beating a dead laptop.

I'm still waiting to see the exploding hollow point rounds. Expanding maybe, exploding no.
