I always liked eating at the lunch counter at Woolworths too, remember that?. Seems odd now that a department store served food, now you can't even bring a drink in, lol.

I love this time of the year! Getting a college basketball overdose, with one more day to go for this weekend. I love the NCAA tourney! But I can tell you my bracket is shot.

Mine still kisses me on the mouth, but not like he did a few years ago when he was young 8,9 10 or 11. Just a quick smooch now, but it does feel really weird, I did not do that when I was a boy. I don't mind, but it is weird. I don't say anything, I just let him be .

However, this boy is really different than I was back then. I can't even imagine giving my dad a kiss, at any age, let alone when I was 10,11, 12,13 etc.

 

My dad never kissed me or vice versa. I can barely remember hugging. Probably hugged a handful of times on my life.

 

Same here. My family just wasn't into that, just didn't show affection. Hell, I was 21 the first time my dad told me he loved me. We were at his mom's funeral.

 

Same here. My family isn't really "affection showing", but we do love each other and take of each other when in need.

 

I hug my youngest son almost every day. Sometimes I still kiss his forehead before bed. My oldest is taller than me and his room is upstairs now. Usually hugging him just turns into a headlock. But I still tell him I love him often. Usually tell him to not be a retard more than I love him though. Lol The baby girl gets more kisses and hugs than she would like to get. She's a daddy's girl.
