I've never seen a cartoon series even come close to the true storyline of a comic character. Which ones are you referring too?

DCs new series of movies are pretty good. They are direct release cartoon movies. They break from the comics but use elements of the story lines. I haven't seen the dark knight cartoon series yet but it's suppose to be very tightly based on the 4 book series done by Frank Miller of the same name.

I agree, they're good movies but they do change a lot of the original comic storylines around to make a fresh and new story. It's not a bad thing, it's just a different thing.

A wise choice Joe...

...anyway...stories are all relative. If I only watch the movies/cartoons then that is what is canon to me. I couldn't care less whats in the comics. I'd just rather watch it then read about it
