Closure for the end of 2009
Just wanted to say to those I know and how we all deal with our families, I am saddened to learn about 10 minutes ago my aunt of 91 years passed in her sleep this morning peacefully and the way we as a family wanted her to spend her last day with us.
It had been a rough ride from that day back in 2003 I recall when my uncle and her were broadsided on a rural highway with no traffic lights and went down about 110 culvert. My uncle passed 2 years ago in February and ever since she has been strong, broken the same hip twice and had 4 that we know of strokes and mini strokes.
I had already lowered my flag to half staff for MO state trooper killed on Christmas Day and it was really hard to put back up this morning.
The phrase we know and live by "You don't know what you got until it's gone", I lost mine this morning. May she rest in peace and godspeed to be with her husband that she so dearly loved for over 55 years when he was alive.
Hug your kids, your wife, shake your neighbors hand this weekend and be proud to know the people you work with and associate with everyday.
Happy New Year and Please Everyone be safe tonight!
Brandon and my family to you my extended family and yours
