Cleaning Tools

How do you clean your tools after you use them and they are greasy? I was working on my suspension, and I ended up getting grease on them and that stuff is hard to wipe off.

I usually just wipe the off with a shop rag. If they are really bad I use a can of brake cleaner.

We use a special lube at work, a molycoat lube, which is pretty expensive, but to clean tools/working parts off we use good ole fashioned IPA alcohol. Works great and dries pretty quickly.
