My mother made some chili yesterday. She said, "Well it's Carroll Shelby's chili."

I was like........Carroll Shelby? Carroll Shelby? Carroll.....Shelby? [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon24.gif[/img] I then showed my mother my copy of MMFF with his pic. She said no way the car guy makes chili.

On the bag it mentioned the Texas panhandle, and knowing that Mr. Shelby got his start in north Texas.......I was baffled at that point. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/headscratch.gif[/img]

That chili has been around for a long time. It's pretty good, but I can't find it around here.

 

You'd never known about it? My father used to buy it.

 

darn...I've never heard of it. I need top peruse the grocery aisles more...I'm a big chili fan.
