Very cool indeed. Sub zero on the "cool wall". Being a U2 chase car used to be one of the SSP Mustang's duties too. Would have been nice if they had one of those out there. Hold on, going to watch the whole show now... Thanks for posting!

All I know is that it was marvelous (as stuff like this usually is) and it makes me a little sad, in that, given what I do, what is likeliest to happen... I'll never have that experience. James May is a very very lucky man indeed, and I'm happy and jealous at the same time.

Top Gear did pick the right man for the job, though, as Richard would be all hyper, and Jeremy would... just not work. James the musician is appropriately appreciative and proper for the role here.

Congrats, James! You suck.

That's so true. It would be quite entertaining to watch Jeremy Clarkson put through the battery of tests and training though. Also would have been cool to see The Stig in there lounging in a flight suit.

Yeah, with his helmet inside their helmet? That would be rather epic.

Here is a link to the full episode. It is not Top Gear, it's a documentary of sorts called "James May On The Moon". http://videos.streetfire.net/video/J...-12_691392.htm
