Burt Reynolds - the legend :)
With all the stars that have been dying recently, maybe it's time to celebrate the great man's films, while he is still alive.
Stroker Ace (1983)
Smokey & The Bandit
Bandit Bird

ummm, cannonball run anyone?
To think Burt turned down the role of astronaut in Terms Of Endearment because he promised a buddy he would do Stroker Ace. Jack Nicholson was second choice and went on to get the Academy Award for best actor and the rest is history.
Yup, Burt in the ambulance with Farrah Fawcett and Jack Elam as the "doctor". Burt was pretty good for light romatic comedy and in 1983 he did Blake Edwards' comedy The Man Who Loved Women, with Julie Andrews as the psychiatrist. Not bad if you can find it cheap on DVD.

I kinda liked 'Stick'. It was a different movie for Burt, compared to all those shenanigan movies. And I liked Dar Robinson's character.. especially that dramatic fall from the balcony. Sweet.
