Here's a few pics.

The ones with the deer & turkey were from Cades Cove, the creek pic was heading up the mountain above g'burg and the others are from the Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies.

I didn't know there was an aquarium up there. I was wondering if you went SCUBA diving with a camera.

haha nah but I wish. I acctually bought my new SLR camera on the way up there! We got a Nikon D50. I had a seperate flash from a 35mm setup taht would work and I got a UV Filter and a Circular Polarizer both while we were there so thats why the pics were good.

That is the very camera I want to get. I love my regular Nikon N65 and I will definitely get another Nikon. It is a bonus that the lenses will work on the digital version as well.

I hope you bring it to WoW so I can drool at it.

Gatlinburg is fun (and the Aquarium is really nice). Did you get into the Smokies much? That is where we had most of our fun.

Brad, make sure you have your tripod with you at WoW so I can get some good pics of PSH and the MCM display.

Jeffery, we went to the top of the mountain and there was barely any snow. I took a bunch of pics, just havent uploaded any. I really need a good zoom lens before I try much more outdoor stuff

We went to the top peak in the middle of July -- and it was FREEZING. yet it was 90 in Gatlinburg. I can only imagine what it'd be like in January.

Next time we go up, we're going spend mkost of our time in the park. We drove through the old town, but wish we had more time.

It's a ways away. Couple of hours. Its far East Tennessee. Google Map it for the exact distance. In fact, I'm fairly sure in Chattanooga you'd be closer to Nashville by just a bit then you would be to Gatlinburg.

I'd imagine it's at least a 2.5 hour drive from Chattanooga to Gatlinburg.
