well its official: arin is hooked on these things. BUT as fun as my electric MP5 is, its loud thus eliminating any possibiliteds of shooting it inside when im just bored, or if its at night. if my neighbors dont kill me for the noise, my mom will lol
and plus i hate having to charge a battery (i havent had to yet, but its 3 hours 50 min to charge the thing)
and i just wanted some more variety, sooooo
i got two more
numero uno:
you may recognize this'n from Dirty Harry. .44 magnum!

whats great is that u can only have one BB per shell and you load six shells in at a time, like a real revolver and unlike the other spring pistols modeled after automatic guns, you can acutally cokc this one one handed. other ones require u to pull back the slide, thus needing both hands. so even tho its a pain to load 6 shells all the time, its great fun. basically bad for competitions, but fun ashell for me

and my other new baby is an M87 pump action shotgun. its technically a spring rifle, but if you cokc it multiple times you can shoot multiple BBs.

please note the cool (and friggin bright!!!) lil flashlight attached to the side of the gun :P

and its hard to see in pix, but theres actualy a little light that paints a cross-hair in the center of the scope, and as long as ur shooting straight and not holding the gun ad a stupid angle, it works perdy well

these things are good fun, even just plinking cans in the backyard. and for the record, the shotgun blew a hole in a soda can from 30 ft away... definatlye not planning on shooting anyone "just for kicks" with that one. in fact the only time i ever have a lil shootout with my bro is if im using my revolver, since its not all that powerful, wear a sweatshirt and u wont even feel it. im not going to even try the other two guns on the kid. thats just not nice. oh and dont think im just standing there pumpinh BBs into him with the revolver either, the kid has his own Navy seal pistol with silenced extended barrel and scope and hi cap mag lol. that one hurts on bare skin
just thought id give y'all fair warning on what arins been buying lately
oh and the revolver was $28, the Shotgun $33. not bad i must say, compared to the $100 electric gun

LOL, dont worry, this thing wont kill an animal. **** it off? yes. kill? no. besides, i never reaaaally intended to harm small animals... aside from certain younger relatives that in fact are members to TMS yet they never log on....

Treat all guns as if they can kill you. Treat them as they are loaded. Anything that will allow you to aim and shoot a projectile at something or someone can be potentially dangerous.
There was a story here in town awhile back where a kid had a under armor shirt on, and thought he was invincible. He had a friend shoot him in the chest with a low powered BB gun. The BB penetrated the skin and ruptured his heart, he went to his dad and said he was hurting, and he died on the way to the hospital. ALL GUNS CAN BE DEADLY.
Mis-handling of firearms of any type is not tolerated by me.

Get this.

Not that I am condoning anyone shooting anyone with anything, I find it very far fetched from a physics standpoint that a normal "low powered BB gun", ie vintage red ryder projectile speed would be able to even the skin at range versus some sort of plastic play body armor. Unless there actually was no armor, and he was just shot point blank, even then with projectile speed being so low I can hardly see it penetrating past 1/5th of an inch, not to mention 4 inches for a fatal wound to the chest.

The body armor I am referring to is the type shirts that athletes and Law Enforcement wears under their vest/pads. Its nothing more than a breathable skin tight neoprene shirt.
Also I am unsure as to what type BB gun it was, but it was at point blank range. I and 1-2 other members here know the father and it was devestating.

trust me, these arent anywhere close to REAL firearms
they shoot PLASTIC. they are MADE for shooting ppl in skirmishes and what not. kind of like paintball, but without paint. they dont shoot bullets, or metal BBs or pellets or anything like that
the shot little plastic thingies. ive shot my self in the arm to see how had it hurts, and it stings but it doesnt break the skin or make a major bruise or anything. basically enough to know when you've been hit
they DONT break the skin. and about the squirrel comment, c'mon, do you really think im going to go around shooting things? it was just an inside skwerl joke (yes i know its spelled wrong, but thats part of our joke) i have with another member here, and i thought it would be funny. sorry that you took it so seriously, it wasnt meant to be.
so just for the sake of clarity, again:
THESE ARE TOYS, MEANT TO BE SHOT AT OTHER PPL. AND IM NOT REALLY GOING TO SHOOT ANY SMALL ANIMALS, IT WAS A JOKE, but i guess it seems to be in poor taste
sorry to all who were mislead by my post. i know what you mean when ur talking about those metal BB guns and real guns. no way in heck i would leave one of those around or shoot anything but a target at a shooting range. and even then, i dont even WANT a real gun. ever. the idea of needing to have a real weapon kind of scares me... which is why i bought one thats NOT real and just fun to play with.
one last time: they are fake weapons, they are toys, and im not shooting any harmless little animals, just for skirmishes and fooliing around with my friends. sorry if i made you all think i was some raving lunatic that shoots small children and animals with metal BBs. i can admit to being a bit loopy, but i dont try and actually hurt anything. and the only thing that ever does get hurt is my pathetic ego when i see how much better shots my friends are...
i hope that clears things up

so I assume you and your brother are wearing eye protection when you shoot each other
I know if he shoots you in the head it will take weeks before you find it burried in your fro
