well i finally bit the bullet so to speak and bought me one o them airsoft guns. just came in the mail today. didnt get around to opening the box till about 20 min ago (HW and tutoring and the like) so i havent got a chance to shoot it yet..
but man this thing is cool!!! MP5 with the short/adjustable stock AND the full heavy stock came with it, so u can choose which one u want. came with two Hi-Cap 150 round mags and the guys at shortyusa tossed in a free 30rd mag too
also got a shoulder sling and the charger and the barrel cleaner and all that good stuff.
whether or not its a good thing that Arin has an airsoft gun is debateable. the fact o the matter is, i do and i think its super cool lol.
oh and heres a pic for all those inclined to click

Lalo, trust me on that one. i will. to be honest i really want to find out what squirrel tastes like....
LOL, dont worry, this thing wont kill an animal. **** it off? yes. kill? no. besides, i never reaaaally intended to harm small animals... aside from certain younger relatives that in fact are members to TMS yet they never log on....

i got it for $109 at www.shortyusa.com
but i was looking into it and you might be better off getting it at www.airsoftgi.com ther you can get it for $100 or ante up to about $160 and get a glock 17 and holster and spare mags as well
its an MP5 and its made by UTG. great bargain
~280 FPS with .2 gram BBs
my only regret is not gettting the starter pack with the clock 17 at airsoft GI, but oh well, i'll get a pistol later on
oh and i fired this puppy a few times at some soda cans... pretty accurate, i must say. and on full auto!!! JESUS!!! talk about fun!!!
try those two sites and browse around to find something that suites your tastes/price range. just cuz i like this one doesnt mean y'all should. but i really do like UTG as a company, i was also thinking about getting their M87 tactical shotgun....
despite the fact that they are relativiely cheap compared to say, tokyo maori and other bigger name brands, UTG is still pretty good. definately not as good as those all metal body ones, but its still upgradeable n stuff.
good luck findin one you like

when u say .22 rifle do you mean like a real gun? cuz thats not what this is lol. it shoots plastic BBs.
oh and just so y'all knows, im looking into getting a gas (C02) powered pistol to go with it. cuz i dont like waiting for my battery to charge (3hours 50min!!!!)
man i saw some revolver ones where you actually load BBs into brass shells and load it like that...
gun nut? maybe... but for the record, i'd never want a real gun... ever. cant go in the backyard and tag ur friends with a real gun. and besides no way in heck am i responsible enough for a real firearm.

Rule #1 about loud AEGs (automatic electric guns)
dont use them in the backyard at night arin just did. i just finished chargin the battery agin and went outside to shoot some soda cans. lol the neighbors turned on there lights, dogs were a barkin, they came outside (thank god for 8 foot high fences lol)
on full auto this thing is a wee bit loud.... well, not a wee bit loud enough for my neighbors to yell . but on semi its not as bad

its hard to describe. kind of like and electric motor noise (like in a RC car) and then a <clack>
thats for the Semi
for the full auto? well u remember the noise that anakins ships gun makes in Star Wars Episode III? it sounds kinda like that. like really high pitched whines, but repeating at a high pace. REALLY hard to describe....
and my brothers springer pistol sounds like a typical clicker gun that one might have when you're little. haha, too bad he has to chicken the gun before every shot :P i love not having to do that
