Taurus's quality has continued to improve. I've got one and it looks real nice, feels good, but there's something about it that I just wouldn't put my life behind one. Maybe it's that I prefer DAO's, or maybe it's just the past reputation and the fact that they tend to 'copy' so many other mfgr's weapons. Mine's a 92Spl, and it's fun to shoot at the range, but for my carry weapon and nightstand gun, it's a Glock.

Our guns laws are crappier up here, can't even carry one for defense. When I can get my restricted license in a year and a half, I want to pick up a Beretta 92fs or a SIG. Later on, I wanna get a 1911 in .45ACP.

We had guns, but here in suburbia you can't enjoy em.
Had a Taurus .38 and .357.

Still have
a 280 deer rifle, 12 gauge for clay shooting, 20 gauge for my son to clay shoot, Black powder my Dad built, 303 British, and a .22 rifle my son got for Christmas.

Well, if you want to talk about collections - I'll add a few of my favorites.
AR-15 M4 Carbine
Desert Eagle .357
Glock 26
Turkish Mauser - old war rifle w/ ammo that costs $4/round. Haven't shot it yet.
Walther P22
Ruger Mark II Competition
Beretta .32 Tomcat
and my Taurus 92 Spl
One of my favorite guns was my Ruger GP 101 .357 revolver. **** gun just had character, but had to sell when money was tight.
Worst gun I ever had was a Bersa .380 that I was glad to get rid of.

i agree that some of the older taurus were not such great weapons but here in the last few years they have really stepped up there game.

the new 24/7 pro i just picked up is by far the best gun IMO i have in my small collection which includes

Taurus 24/7 Pro - .45acp (my new carry weapon)
Taurus Millennium Pro - 9mm (wifes carry weapon)
Taurus Millennium Pro - .45acp (my old carry weapon)
Ruger P90 Series - .45acp
Smith & Wesson Sigma - .40 s&w
Glock 21 - .45acp
Beretta Cougar - .45acp
Magnum Baby Eagle - .45acp
Taurus PT-1911 - .45acp
Smith & Wesson 99 - .45acp
Beretta mountain eagle .22 (great target pistol)
mossberg maverick pistol grip pump 12 guage

as you can tell i like .45's

Cal laws are the worst. we got concealed carry here in Missouri about a year or so ago, I now help on the range part of the class. On the newer stangs, has anyone found a good place to store your gun? In my F150 I have a remote box under the seat with a painc button to open it. It will not fit under the seat of the stang because of the electric seats.

That t
Taurus is just like my Baretta 92. Also have:
Ruger GP101 .357, 10/22 tricked out.
Dan Wesson .357, 44 mag, 45 APC
Bersa .380
Thompson contender, with too many barrells to list.
Winchester 1895 30/40 Kraig
Springfield 03 30/06
Browing BAR 338 win mag
Colt AR15 shorty
H&K .40
I know theres more, would have to open up the safe to find them all.LOL
won't even get into the scatter guns..

Arin, I could not stand living in Kalifornia, New York, or D.C.
Florida has some of the best gun laws in the country, I hated leaving there and moving to Ohio. I'd love to live in AZ if it wasn't so far away from home.
But yes, being someone who's traveled through the states a bit, where you're from does impact some of your views. Guns aren't a bad thing. Actually, they're a very good thing in the hands of responsible people. Besides that, if you understand the responsibility, they're pretty **** fun too.

i think florida and texas are the 2 most gun friendly states in the U.S.

and to answer your question about where to put it in the stangs. put it in your lap lol for real i would say if its fits in the center console keep it there if not just keep it on your hip when your in the car and when you get out place it under the passenger seat till you get back in the car

LOL! thats pretty funny. as tough as the laws are here (smog, guns, etc) i dont think im ever leaving. i really love just the bay, and of course my belvoed niners.

if it means i have to wait longer to get myself a Colt 1911 .45*, then i guess i'll wait longer (21 for a handgun, 18 for anything else)

speaking of 18, i saw some old WWII mausers at the local big 5. made in czecholovakia. thinking of getting one of those as my first, along with a russian bolt action. i keep seeing them in the sunday paper ads for less than $100. i figure its a ncie way to start a collection

*my personal all time favorite handgun

Check the price and availability of ammo before you purchase an older firearm.
