That's it
Kevin, I sheepishly have to admit: I have NO idea what any of that collection of paraphernalia you hump around with you is. I guess it must all be relevant, otherwise you would likely leave it all at home.
Galaxy Nexus = death ray?
Your buddy Mike's timepiece?
Supreme 5-panel = autographed snapshot of Diana, Mary, and Florence?

That's the same knife I carry, if/when this one breaks I will most likely replace it with another one.

What is a speed assist? Like a claymore strapped to your leg so that you can explode a knife into the other guys throat?

No, its an assisted opening type function that kershaw developed. it uses a torsion bar instead of a spring so its much more controlled and not just WACK and its open. You can open it manually with your thumb or you can let it open on its on and its fast, with just a twitch of your thumb. I dont like normal spring assisted openers mainly because they do not feel controlled, if you dont have a great grip, they feel like they will fly out of your hand. The speed assist on teh other hand, ive never once felt like that. Its solid and stable and as smooth as any knife ive ever dealt with. the Blur line is by far my fav, and they are ken onion designed blades. The grips are slip resistant and the size is perfect for my hands, with or without gloves on, which is my main gripe with most knife designs.

I like the knife that opens with the finger tip around 120 mark
