re:

Well I didn't get my check today. I thought it was because I was military until I found this link.

Read the comments from the other users. If you used a third party (such as using SBBT bank through TurboTax) then you will get a paper check. Why? Because you authorize SBBT to put the check into a temporary account, then they take their fees out and THEN make a deposit to your own checking account.

I didn't have any idea about this beforehand. This really blows.

That's irritating. I filed the first week of February, last two digits are 37, and now I have to wait an additional four weeks because of TT.

I must say though, it's scary how many of those people railing against TT spent their checks before they even got them!

We didn't really spend ours ahead of time but we REALLY had planned on having it. Gas prices are giving us a beating. Shoot I don't even have a Mustang (currently) and gas prices are killing me! lol

By the way, if you used TurboTax or any such service and paid your fees with a credit card then you will get your tax refund as expected.

People with at least $3,000 in qualifying income may qualify for an economic stimulus payment of $300 ($600 for married couples) plus the $300 per qualifying child payment. However, they must file a 2007 income tax return by Oct. 15 , 2008economic stimulus ? & they'll keep the rest so you never get it ?
