Anyone catch the Space Shuttle Launch?

I happened to walk in the den and turned on the HD channels and it was about 2 minutes out from launch. That was amazing to see in true HD and surround, but even more so at night. There was one shot of the shuttle about to blast through the cloud layer and everything was pitch black except where its booster rockets were lighting up that area of the sky.. it was humbling.

Good luck to the crew and the mission

(this isnt the same pic I described above, the one on HD was amazing, but youget the idea.)

I don't have HD...nor an HDTV...nor did I catch the launch.

But its cool everytime. I saw the re-entry live once. Stood outside my house and watched it come in...it was like 10pm at night. VERY cool.
