in texas you dont need to do burnouts to get the tires warm lol- when i brought my bikes down to dallas last year i've never felt any sliding within the first 5 min like i do in chicago. i loved the car pool lane on the bike in texas- thats the best feature.

those 250's have come along way...finally looks like a cool bike to ride..the wife learned on a 2000 ninja 250 - we called it the green monster lol.

the other place where i had tremendous grip was at deals gap- those roads are truely special and have instant traction wherever you go.

if you dont have a scala g4 you should get one- we have them and able to talk to each other along the routes. plus you can use them for other things like racing go karts and talking trash with your friends lol.

Yea im tryin to get the scala for christmas but its either that or possibly gettin the ford racing axle backs for my v6 2012 stang an tinting its windows. And mostly when it starts getting a lil colder do i do a burnout. Other times i just accelerate a bit fast to heat things up gradually. Its raining though so no bike today/:

I just started riding a few months ago and picked up an '09 Ninja 250 myself! Love the bike! I am definitely glad I started with the smaller bike... I will eventually move up to a 600...

I don't currently have a bike but, have kept my license for the time I get another. Love the Interceptor (last gen), so I'm lookimg forward to the 2012 version.

The 600 Hurricane in front was mine (sold it. Kids took up my ride time) that I bought brand new in '87 for $3800! The Interceptor in back belonged to my Brother.
