any computer gurus in here?

I am using firefox browser, and the the cursor seems to appear on web pages. What I mean by this is the cursor that normally appears and blinks in word ducuments (you know the one that looks like an "I"). It appears everywhere when I click on text on web pages. Anyone know how I can get rid of this?

That's how it is supposed to look, it's the same way in Internet Explorer. The cursor changes based on what it hovers over (ie. finger for a web link). The "I beam" look is so you know you can select the text, cut and copy it.

To change it go to the control panel and click on MOUSE and then click on the POINTERS tab. From there you can change the TEXT SELECT pointer to something else. Of course, this will change it for every program you run in windows.

When I hover over text, I know it should change, but now, when I click the text, the line stays there and blinks, like in a Word document. Thats never happened until recently. (this does not happen when I use Iinternet Explorer.)
