The .338 is a good weapon in lieu of the 107 most SEALS will opt for, because it's a lighter platform. The 82 I lugged around sometimes was HEAVY after a couple weeks in the field. The other one, the .300 Mag, is the predecessor of the one I shoot now, the .30-378 load. Faster, flatter, hits just a little harder at the same range. I know of two individuals who have purchased for themselves their own Weatherby Mark V in .30-378 for use in military operations.

yeah from the clips i've seen, and Oprah's less than stellar acting chops, i'm not surprised it didn't make the cut. She was awful in the Butler.

It was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I don't think you will be disappointed in any way. And this guy played himself in the movie. I saw an interview with him on tv talking about Bradley Cooper telling him he should play himself in the movie.

Cooper seems to absorb himself so deeply into a soldier's mindset and persona that there were times it felt more like a documentary than a movie....particularly the scenes in Iraq.

Many people on both the left and right see this as a political movie and offer their own narrative that fits their agenda. I don't think those folks saw the movie, or if they did, really didn't pay attention.

It's just a simple but very powerful film depicting the choices and physical and mental sacrifices that soldiers and their families make in a time of war. It defies a political lable in my opinion.

And just like everybody said, very good film, only saw one person leave before the credits ended, and everyone exited the theatre quietly.
