am I the only one? who forgot that its columbus day?
so I have been calling my bank for about 30 min's.. I then email the branch manager and she reminded me that its a holiday.. I want to crawl under a rock and die.

I got C blocked on getting my car this weekend since transfers wont go in until tomorrow..

I've worked retail for so long Columbus day is really just a euphemism for "Busy as hell since everybody else is off" day, that I've had it off for the past two years has made it "****, the ****** f'ing bank is closed" day.
The worst part about working Columbus day was working in a small specialty department and that day being an outlier when it came to the volume of customers.
You could stack a full staff on Columbus day at the expense of running thin the rest of the week or just bite the bullet and work people six days hoping that the volume was enough to offset blowing your payroll out of the water due to overtime or work people 40 hours over 6 days and as a salaried employee cover the empty spots in the shift which meant 12-16 hour days over the rest of the week anywhere from 5-7 days.
Yeah don't missing being a small department manager at all
Also realize in my AO (meaning the seven cities) we are at the epicenter for military and some government operations.
