For all the students out there...
I'm FREEEEEE!!!!!!

I took my Physics final this morning at freaking 8am. Stockton was so hot I actually woke up at 7am. I haven't been up that early in ages. It was mostly easy, thankfully. Myabe 4-5 out of 33 that I didn't know. Not too bad IMO
Calculus was next. I made a mistake and thought the test started at 1230... It started at 12. A friend called me and i hauled *** to get there ten minutes late. Finished in about an hour. I couldnt remember a few things here and there, but as I sat and thought I was able to get back most of it. I missed a fair bit of class towards the end of the semester but I still managed to figure out 80% of the test.

This last year was at University of the Pacific in Stockton. I was majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I've changed my major now though, and I will be pursuing my Industrial and Transportation Design (read: draw some cars) at the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
I'm so stoked!!

Keep us posted Zoran. I'd love to hear stories of your trip when you return. And don't forget to take lots of pictures!
I personally can't imagine how hard it must have been to leave home because of war... or to stay away for so long

Back in 1990 when I started attending college I saw a news story on TV about the automotive design schools in California and I wanted to do that so badly, but I was stuck in Texas and on the way to being a stock broker, which I'm not by the way. I wanted to be Gordon Gecko in Wall Street. I thought seriously that Oliver Stone f***ed up and Michael Douglas should be the good guy, he was just rescueing crappy companies.
Back in 1990 before it was the POS it is today Motor Trend had a contest to design the next generation Mustang from the old Fox body. I spent weeks on mine. Didn't win, but I really was going for the retro look back then. I used to also draw lots of rear engined V16 cars because I was fascinated with the rear engined Lamborghini Countach and the Ferrari 512 BB.
Well enjoy it, I hope you really succeed at it. I think with your love of cars you'll do fine.

Definitely, I'll take many pictures. That's the main reason why I wanna go to Serbia this summer.

Thanks Gary. I've been addicted to drawing cars for a very long time, and this forum especially has helped me improve and learn and has motivated me more than anything else to go after this degree.
The artists around here are amazing, both in terms of talent and as role model material
