Brian Setzer hotrods are good lookin guitars to say the least...
Do they play what they are worth....i've heard both sides of the coin.

The Rev's Gretsch...plays like its worth, so I've heard.

As for Meyer... say what you will, the guys got talent. He may not be the best, but he's certainly not the worst.
I wish I knew how the Setzer played- They have it locked up in the vault and I can't get my greedy hands on it!

Dang..

It appears we are developing a bug for Acoustics though. B. Can do anything with an acoustic.

I have him on a power ballad kick for me right now- you know- heaven, I remember you and Every rose has its thorn.

Nice SG Zach. Reminds me of Tony Iommi's guitar. I have a cream colored 65 Fender Mustang that I aquired about 25 years ago, that's now a very sought after collector. I picked up a new Ovation Balladeer (black) acoustic/electric a few years back and love it, very good action. I have my beater Johnson acoustic for camping trips etc. I got pics somewhere on this PC but God only knows where there filed. :bang:

Amps - Mini Marshall, Apeg and a Peavey.

hmm.... you could get some adapters and plug the out on your amp in to the input or mic jack of your soundcard. then you would need piece of software to dub your solo onto the track. or you could just record your solo using sound recorder and then convert the wav to an mp3 and post it, and i will dub it into the track for ya

Sweet! I'd love to have a Gretsch ANYTHING. My first electric was a Kustom with DeArmond pickups and a Bigsby tremolo. I totally screwed it up by refinishing it and replacing the bridge pickup. Should have left it alone, but I was 16 and didn't know any better.

Yeah, I've come to love Gretsch...

The Electro-Jet I picked up for 800 canadian with case.
And it plays like a guitar thats more than twice what I payed.
And its not as bright as it is in the picture. The paint reminds me of Satin Silver (which is cool, cause my 02 was Satin)

I saved for a while on that.
I wanted the Cadillac Green Elliot Easton model..but like I said, the dealer wasn't sure on if he was getting any more.

Too bad about screwing it up...happens to the best of us.

Let's see...I guess in order of preference:

Guitars:
Martin CEO IV Ltd. Ed. Acoustic
Gibson Les Paul Classic - Honeyburst
Fender '62 Reissue Strat - Sunburst (w/JB mini humbucker in the bridge)
Fender '57 Reissue Strat - Mary Kaye (blonde w/ gold hardware)
Fender Mexican Tele Special (unofficial Keef Richards model - blonde)
Epiphone Casino Reissue - RED
Danelectro U2 reissue - black
Fender Mexican Standard P-Bass - Lake Placid Blue
"FrankenStrat 12 String" I built from a Squier II body and Warmoth 12 string neck.

I "gave" my wife:
Gibson Gospel Reissue - translucent blue (super rare color). She also has a student model Yamaha she bought in college.

Amps:
'58 Gibson GA-30 Invader (just overhauled by Gerald Weber - sweet!)
Fender '59 Bassman Reissue
Fender Pro Junior (w/ negative feedback loop delete mod)
Fender Mini-Twin (the only one I can play in the house anymore )

FX:
Prescription Electronics Overdriver (Jay Farrar's solo in "Chickamauga", anyone?)
DOD Compressor/Sustainer (yeah, yeah, I should upgrade to an MXR or something)
Digitech 2 sec Digital Delay (any older and it would be an EH Memory Man!)
DOD Classic Fuzz - I don't use this anymore, really

I'll try to edit some pictures in later.

I'm currently selling a Mexican Tele Thinline on ebay right now to help pay for a JLTII CAI and SCT2 tuner - search under user "buzzystang".

The "only" guitars I'm craving at the moment:
Mid 90's Les Paul Special in TV Yellow w/ P-90's and bound fretboard (hard to find, esp under $1,000), and an original '76 Reissue Gibson Explorer in Natural (Edge fix!).

Here is a good site for tabs and chords that I use..

http://www.guitartabs.cc/

This site has some really good lessons in diiffernt styles. I have bought CD lessons from them and they are excellent.
They also have "live" internet lessons.

http://www.riffinteractive.com/

Check em out
