There was a show on Discovery or National Geographic about some folks in Alabama reporting sightings of a Bigfoot like creature out in the boonies. They were calling it the Alabama booger monster. I don't remember if it was leaving booger like fluids on stuff or if it was just Alabamian for boogey man. There were no pictures or video of course.

Shelby Jefferson, St Clair and the other (blount?) County.....are Bham and its suburbs.
Bibb County, Chilton County, Perry County Etc should be avoided at all costs.
