Having been a South Florida resident for many years, I have some experience with hurricanes - but even Andrew back in 92 was not like this storm bearing down on New Orleans.

Ian - I can only hope you and your family are safe and my thoughts and prayers are with you and any other members from this 05 forum that live in the threatened area who I have interacted with over the past year - this storm looks to be a history maker - everyone please please stay SAFE!!!

I am hoping it does not take a turn and come toward us. Between Ivan and Dennis, Pensacola has seen enough. I feel for the people in the area that it does hit.

 

Probably going to be the 2nd most intense Hurricane to hit the US and by far the most expensive.

 

I am so freakin sick of these hurricanes.at least another month of stress and worry.last year almost killed me

 

Yeah really, be safe and do the smart thing if you're in that thing's path - GTFO and be quick about it. I live about an hour from where the 4 storms crossed paths with FL last year, so I'm thankful we dodged the bullet. Be safe guys.

Well I live in new orleans...right in the pathway of this nasty nasty storm. I am actualy in lafayette now in a hotel....hopeing I have a home to go home to. This in NOT going to be good yall. To add salt to the woond my ford dealer was supposed to put my 06 GT order in on monday...thats NOT going tohappen now...it may be months before I can even go home to re-try. I was going to get it for 2k under msrp too....hope the dealer is still there to hook me up.
