WOW I just realized I joined here 5 years ago(1/12/06). I can't believe I've been on here that long. Who else will be on here 5 years this year?

2/2/04, so almost 7 years here. Wow. Am I screwin' it up because it's more than 5? Or can I tell story? Well, I'm tellin' story anyway:

I find that date odd, because this is Brad's join date: 1/29/04. So either I'm remembering differently than I should, or I have been here almost from the beginning.

Well, now, actually, I was rabidly hunting down any and all information about the S197, because I found a CAD rendering of the shell and said "zOMG, that is SEX!" and had to know everything about the car from that day forward. I've lusted after the S197 since that moment, and found TMS because of that. Signed up immediately and never left. That would in fact be about the right time...

So could it actually be that I'm dang near a founding member? Nah, that'd be too lofty a thing for lil' ol' me. I don't do enough for that kinda title. But I'm definitely glad to be here!

^ it's ok that it's more than 5 years, and I was happy to hear the story. I was in 5th grade and 11 years old when I joined TMS, now I'm 16 and halfway through highschool. But apparently I'm still the youngest member here. LOL

 

Dang i thot i was the youngest at 17

 

Maybe we can just swap a year in age?

I was a lurker before that.
I was already old when I joined, but I am not the oldest here.
I am old enough to have gone to the NY World's Fair where they introduced the Mustang.

 

Almost at 7 years here! I found this place when I fell in love with the S197 concept cars, and haven't left since. I don't post a whole lot, but I've learned tons from all the great people on here.

But it would be good to get the younger crowd here together and hopefully pick up from each other since most of usndont quite have the money for bigger builds. So we can come up with affordable wasy to build our cars up

Actually I've been here even longer, I was a member on the original forum before it crashed when Ford introduced '05 concept.
I remember this site before the forum even existed ...

I see, I know I registered in 2004 when I was waiting for my 2005 Black Mustang that was ordered by the dealer to come in. However I didn't activate my account until 2005.
