That's the age of my body: 42. My mind is 25, so that's what I tell everyone.
However, the body is what people count up years for, so that's what I am today: 42. Happy birfday to me and all that. But that's not why I came in here, honestly, to say.
No, what I came in here to say is this:
My family is the bomb.
I hear a couple of people nodding their head in agreement. Although, the sound of heads nodding is quite faint, so you have to be talented like me to hear it.
But quite a lot of you might wonder why they're the bomb, and so I'll tell you.
Not only did I get a cake with '42' emblazoned on it in a friendly shade of green on white butter cream icing, with strawberry cake inside (OMG YUM)
Not only did they all show up for to eat and make merriment
But they all gave me towels. Lots of towels Little hand towels, kitchen towels. Well, and one matching potholder, because, well, one of them has to do that.
And some gift cards too.
That so very rocked. I love my family. Y'all can sass that, right? A buncha hoopy froods, the lot of them. I thought I'd share that with y'all. G'night, all!

I do, every chance I get. And I'll never be an old geezer, dammit. I wanna be like Hef. Although, I'm not real certain if I can get three GFs at a time, but hey, one never knows... 
And for my second birthday present, slightly belated, to myself, I had a fantastic motorcycle ride today, and gonna try to sneak one in tomorrow morning before the Texans game (I watch that with Dad every season. It's our thing.) Man, it was some seriously pretty weather in Houston and the surrounding area today.

Oh, SNAP. ****, I had no idea it was out! Well, hell, that sounds rather nifty... bit odd, that, though, as it's not Douglas, but since he wanted it, and his wife said ok, then it's ok. I'll be gettin' it TOMORROW... after the Texans, 'cause, that's the way it'll have to be.
