I'll be getting the Japanese version, it's a bit more expensive but it's diecast metal.

Hey wasn't Grimlock the tyranosaur in the original toy? Don't know how I remembered that.

Yes. It is amazing what the mind will store. I can remember a lot of stupid little trivia things. But then I have trouble remembering what my wife said a few minutes ago.

These are available now. They are nice. I got mine in a week before X-mas. I am keeping that one in the box and will buy the plastic version to play with. I got mine for $50 from Digital Toys.

Glad you said something about wives. She told me to go by the store on the way home from work. But there's a Ford dealership on the way home with a nice white GT and when I see it I'll forget about the grocery store again.

Exactly, they just open up another Walmart instead of having more checkers at the checkstands.

There is a thread about this toy in the section: Toys and Automobilia . I already have two as my post in: Toys and Automobilia states.
I will now channel Grantsdale
SEARCH FIRST

But let me know how long it takes you to go back to the original Car from Robot mode

Hey ponygirl, the Arnold Wally World (my former place of employment) had four of them. But my friend and I each bought one already so I'm not sure if they have any left. Don't call them though, they won't really look. I got mine a week and a half ago.

I second that I bought one at Wal Mart. A couple of weeks ago... It was a major chore to get it back the way it came. I was really wishing I had not converted it to the robot... :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:
