each post has a number.. but for some reason its off. click the #60 at the top right of the post box. Look in the URL, the post you just made says its post #6,374,224 ???? Any idea why that is Scott? does that post count off-topic and/or posts lost in the hack? do we really have over 6,000,000 total posts and only 2,000,000 of them count?

yeah thats the difference in the thread name style where it shows the name in the link vs the old style where it just gave a thread ID with a number. The 1,000,000th post by zoran was easy to find at the time but now i cant even go back and see what it was. Only thing I dont like about that mod that was installed by Jon and Nathan.

Your probably pretty close. I just ran the post statistics for the last 30 days, then averaged it and its right at 918 post per day. At the current amount of post left, it is saying it will take 2.84 days to be at 2mil.
